- Check that there is sufficient fuel in the fuel tank. (See manufactures hand book for type)
- Check that the engine oil level is correct. (See pre-start check)
- Open fuel valve lever to the “ON” position
- Set the throttle lever on the engine to quarter open position
- For cold engine starting, move the carburettor’s choke lever to the choke “full on” position (5.5hp engine)
- Check that the engine stop switch is in the “on” position
- Air Filter Clear of any Debris

• Regular wear and tear on consumable items
• Correct wiring procedures not followed
• Zero faults found after the basic checks are completed
The complete cost of the repair and transportation will be charged back to the customer.
