Busy week for the Trelawny team at Intermat Paris
April 29, 2015
The Trelawny team has just returned from the week long Intermat and World of Concrete Europe Exhibition in Paris.
The show, which takes place every three years, involved a wide range of players within the construction and concrete industries. Over 200,000 people visited the show, with a mix of French and International visitors who had the possibility to see over 1,300 exhibitors in 375,000 sqm of exhibition space.
The exhibition spanned over 6 days and the Trelawny stand attracted a lot of very keen visitors. The UK pneumatic tools manufacturer was looking to meet potential distributors and customers in the French market. With the appointment of Agnès Rieger as Central Europe Area Sales Manager and the launch of the French website, Trelawny has got what it takes to increase its brand awareness and presence in France.

Another highlight of the show was the visit of Ton Brockbernd, from the Dutch rental company Boels. The long term customer was awarded the trophy of “Rental Company of the Year” from Trelawny’s commercial director Rob Chapman.
The wide range of surface preparation equipment on the stand caught the eye of many visitors. Popular products include the Long Reach Scalers, a unique tool ideal to reach areas otherwise difficult to access. It can quickly be converted for chipping, scraping and de-scaling applications.
Intermat being just outside of Paris, we took the opportunity to go sightseeing, and were lucky to see the cathedral Notre Dame de Paris illuminated.
